GEVACRIL NEWS
December 2004

Despite an affected market confidence within the plastic sector Gevacril can look back at a solid 2004 performance and a very positive sales trend. Gevacril could profit, among other factors, of the successful launching of the innovative CAST CONTINUED TUBES as well as of long-term project orders. The Happy Label system, a user-friendly systematic way of labelling was introduced and accepted with enthusiasm. The new colour range of CAST TUBES coped with the COLOURED XT RODS gave further brilliance to a high quality and high speciality profile range. Within this context, a more restrictive cost related policy could guarantee the stability of the prices despite the continue increase in energy and raw material prices. Thus, the Management Board sees many reasons to look confidently at the coming year and some margin of consolidation in the European markets by a stable growth in the Asian and American areas. This year GEVACRIL will support two Charities whose aim is to help "Street Children". The term street children refers to children for whom the street more than their family has become their real home. The purpose of Rua, Strassenkinder eV. and Fondazione M. Candia is to help children who might not necessarily be homeless or without families, but who live in situations where there is no protection, supervision, or direction from responsible adults. Gevacril is pleased to intervene on their behalf.
